Some things are just more powerful in pairs. Like superfoods, workout buddies, and our personal favourite coupling: crystals. Turns out the stones we’re all obsessing over for raising our vibration, allowing us to manifest our desires, and helping us feel more grounded, are actually at their strongest when matched with an equally powerful partner. But how do you know which crystals are meant to be together and which are just not compatible?
For our “Summer of Crystals” series, we talked to Certified Crystal Experts Joey Wargachuk and Graciela Gabica from Happy Soul, to find out the best gem pairings. To give you, our readers, a chance to tap into the power of these pairs, Happy Soul is also offering an exclusive discount on these crystals in-store (just mention Well TO Do!) and online for the whole week following their announcement!
In time for Father’s Day, we have a special “for the dudes” pairing this week:
TIGER’S EYE & DESERT ROSE
What is it about these two stones that are great for men? What is it about pairing them together that changes their impact and vibration?
These crystals are the ones that bring the men to the yard at Happy Soul! They are super masculine and have an almost soothing feeling for most men who pick them up. Pairing them up creates a really good balance as Tiger’s Eye is a very aggressive sporty energy and has a “go get ’em” vibe. Desert Rose really balances them out for a super dad super combo.
Why do these two crystals pair so well together?
Tiger’s Eye is the ultimate bro crystal! It brings fire and strength to the solar plexus and is full of masculine energy. It teams up so well with Desert Rose because it brings a calming energy of strength from increasing confidence in one’s self.
Are there any crystals that these don’t pair well with? If so, which other crystals?
Moon stone is about intuitions and feminine energy; it would dissolve this pairing energetically.
What are the key properties of each crystal on their own and how does that change or intensify when they are paired together?
Tiger’s Eye is about fire and strength. Desert Rose helps with confidence. Sometimes the fire and aggression of Tiger’s Eye can be too intense, and this paring gives you the confidence to be more assertive while also being discerning.
How do you suggest we keep these crystals together (we’re thinking: placing them in one place in your home, wearing them, making a grid, etc)?
These are great for playing sports or keeping in your hobby or “man cave” room. I like keeping one stone in each pocket.
