We had the opportunity to sit down with Christopher Chapleau of REVIV Toronto, who is a walking example of how amazing these vitamin, mineral, antioxidant and electrolyte boosters and IV infusions can be for your energy levels – both mental and physical.
Well TO Do: Please introduce yourself to the Well TO Do readers.
Christopher Chapleau: I’m originally a B.C. boy and I’m the co-owner and Director of Retail Operations for REVIV Canada!
WTD: Tell us about REVIV Toronto and what treatments our readers can expect.
CC: REVIV is the largest global provider of IV infusions and vitamin booster shot wellness treatments. We have over 40 locations worldwide on four continents and REVIV Toronto is our very first Canadian flagship clinic!
Our services are broken down into two categories: wellness and recovery. Our wellness IV infusions contain essential vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and electrolytes that help boost your immune system, boost your natural energy levels, increase your red and white blood cell count, flush your body of toxins and provide crucial hydration to your tissue and organs. We also have a very effective aesthetic anti-aging infusion called Vitaglow that’s packed with high doses of the master antioxidant Glutathione.
Our recovery infusions (and this is what makes us special), contain actual medicinal active ingredients like pain killers, anti-inflammatories, antacids and anti-nausea meds that help treat the time consuming effects from common afflictions like hangovers, jet lag, the flu, upper respiratory problems, hay fever, sun burns and the overall wear and tear of life.
Finally, we have vitamin booster shots that are incredible compliments to the IV’s and help extend the longevity of the IV benefits. They also have powerful weight loss and fitness recovery properties like our Slimboost and CoQ10+ boosters.
WTD: What made you decide to open REVIV Toronto? Do you find that Torontonians are receptive and open to IV Treatments and booster shots, which we would normally associate more with a place like Las Vegas?
CC: Although Ottawa may be our political capital, Toronto is the economic, entertainment, and social capital of Canada. We’re a global city with a progressive and global outlook. We’re welcoming to new ideas and new movements, and are intensely focused on our health and professional lives. We’re dedicated to looking, feeling and operating at our very best as that’s what it takes to succeed in Toronto. In light of this, there was really no other better city in Canada to introduce this global health and wellness success story to.
WTD: What is your best-selling treatment?
CC: Without a doubt it’s our premier vitamin infusion Megaboost. It’s interesting, most people associate IV’s with hangovers, Las Vegas, late nights and rough mornings, however, the lion’s share of our business is people looking to add that extra edge to their health care regimen.
It’s individuals who know that the old ways of taking care of yourself aren’t keeping pace with the toll we put on our bodies now a days and so they come to us to add that extra boost that was once only reserved for celebrities and athletes.
A close second would be our weight loss booster shot, Slimboost. It’s a very well known b-complex, amino acid compound that helps naturally boost your body’s metabolic processes. We highly suggest pairing the slimboost WITH the Megaboost infusion for optimal health and wellness results over the long term.
WTD: What treatments do you use personally? How do they compliment your own wellness routine?
CC: I religiously (weekly) receive our Megaboost infusion and twice a week I have two Slimboost booster shots. I honestly don’t know how I operated before without them. For someone that works 6-7 days a week, week after week, these treatments keep me on my feet, energized, and healthy (I haven’t got even so much as a sniffle since we opened). And when I neglect having a treatment for over a week, I definitely notice a difference in how my body operates, there’s just no better way to give your body what it needs in the most effective way possible (intravenously).
WTD: Can you give our readers some tips on incorporating some of your treatments into their own fitness or wellness routines?
CC: First thing I would suggest is to come in and speak to one of our highly trained nurses. They’ll take the time to learn about what your specific health, fitness, weight loss, and anti-aging goals are and create a strategic treatment plan that best fits your needs . For anyone curious to just come by and try out a treatment, we always welcome walk-ins, and if you’re coming in feeling pretty good and not necessarily that off, I highly suggest coming in and trying our Megaboost infusion, you will walk out of here feeling elevated and energized, you have to try it to believe it.
WTD: A non-serious question … can you tell us about any famous Torontonians who have been in??
CC: We receive movie stars, athletes, leaders in business and politics, but, we like to make sure that all of our clients, both celebrities and the week day warriors alike enjoy their privacy while visiting our clinics so we’ll have to keep those names tight to the chest!
WTD: You’ve been open for a year now! Congrats! What’s next for you and REVIV Toronto?
CC: More locations! We currently have our flagship clinic here in Toronto and we’re also partnered with 7 clinics across Canada. We’re currently in the process of scouting our second flagship clinic location right here in Toronto which we hope to open sometime in the late fall. From there, we’ll be looking at having a flagship clinic in each major Canadian city in the near future.
WTD: What’s exciting you most right now about the Toronto wellness scene?
CC: That people are really committing to taking care of themselves and are willing to work their asses off to do it. There’s just been an explosion of access to information, gym locations, types of fitness facilities, fitness leaders and coaches, you name it, it’s just amazing to see this culture rise up and take on so much momentum.
A healthy society is a happy and productive society, so I’m excited to see what this movement helps produce in the coming decades as I think the social repercussions on future generations are going to be profoundly positive.
