Impact Kitchen Acquires Digital Lifestyle Publication Well TO Do
Wellness Brand to Become the Restaurant’s Official Publication and Email Newsletter
TORONTO – Impact Kitchen, Toronto’s destination for quality, wholesome food to Fuel Your Life, announced today the acquisition of Well TO Do, a digital lifestyle publication covering wellness news, advice, trends, and events. The publication will re-launch as Momentum, covering ways to optimize your daily life through nutrition advice, corporate wellness, productivity tips, biohacking, and advice from inspiring leaders.
The acquisition provides Impact Kitchen customers with a new medium to connect with the company and strengthens the company’s position as a healthy lifestyle brand.
“Our customers interact with Impact Kitchen as not only a restaurant, but a way of life,” said Impact Kitchen co-founder Josh Broun. “The acquisition of Well TO Do allows us to take that connection to the next level, by providing our customers with weekly content that helps them embrace wellness across all aspects of their lives, from nutrition, to fitness, to style, and everything in between. The new newsletter will make it even easier for our customers to live the Impact Kitchen lifestyle by expanding their relationship with the brand beyond the restaurant’s physical location.”
Impact Kitchen opened its doors in Toronto in 2015. Today the company has two locations in Toronto with another opening in mid-2019. Impact Kitchen continues to grow its standing as a place where customers can feel confident that the food they are eating supports the life they want to lead.
Well TO Do has been a trusted resource in the wellness world since 2016. Through their website and email newsletter, Well TO Do keeps its readers ahead of the curve with engaging content covering wellness news, trends, and expert advice, as well as events, openings, and product launches. Well TO Do’s weekly email newsletter has experienced 600% growth in the past year and has an open rate more than three times that of the industry average.
“Well TO Do was conceived as a way to keep Toronto up-to-date on the rapid growth of the wellness world, and to bring a local focus to global wellness trends,” said Well TO Do’s President and Co-Founder Eme Housser. “Our readers turn to us for well-written and thoroughly researched content that allows them to confidently lean in to a wellness-focused life. By joining the Impact Kitchen family, we look forward to expanding our coverage to new locations, bringing on international contributors for a broader perspective, and creating innovative events for the community.”
Well TO Do’s team will join Impact Kitchen to build Momentum, as the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor.
Momentum will become the official website and email newsletter of Impact Kitchen, replacing the existing Impact Kitchen newsletter and landing in inboxes weekly rather than monthly. Impact Kitchen’s blog content will be transitioned into the Well TO Do archives.
