Who's Writing for Well TO DO?
Melissa is a proud east coaster from PEI who now calls Toronto home. Educator by day and fitness enthusiast by night. When not teaching in her primary grade classroom, she can be found pursuing her passion for fitness in a Pilates studio, spin class or tracking some serious miles as a marathoner. Melissa lives for the feeling of a great workout. Among her proud accomplishments is running the NYC Marathon. Distance running is one of her first fitness loves and it continues to be an important part of her life and connects her with friends who share her passion for the pavement. Melissa spent her formative years in and around the rink competing in figure skating. Her love of the ice instilled in her the importance of proper training, balance, and the benefits of physical activity.

Laura de Sanctis
Laura De Sanctis a Holistic Nutritionist, Digestive Health Coach and Fitness Instructor. Laura specializes in coaching women on digestive issues, weight loss and pregnancy. She loves all things related to health and wellness, and believes in healing the body from the inside-out, with a holistic whole foods approach. When she's not coaching clients, you can find Laura lifting weights or doing Pilates. For more information on her nutrition programs click here.
Alyssa is a runner, food lover, and writer working in advertising in Toronto. After struggling with her weight for many years, she made working out and eating healthy a big part of her life. She wanted to find a way to inspire other people while keeping herself accountable, so she combined her love of eating, running and writing to create The Running Kitchen.
Alyssa believes that eating healthy doesn't mean you need to compromise taste. When you incorporate real foods into your diet, you can create delicious and satisfying meals that work for you. This approach will encourage an overall healthy way of living without ever feeling deprived.

Laila Peterson-Tannis is a born-and-raised Torontonian. Her fitness journey began over a decade ago with a love for boxing and a desire to find a fitness community. When she's not working on her jab and uppercut, you can find Laila combing the farmer's market for sustainably grown foods, hiking through the Don Valley/Evergreen Brickworks trails, and sipping java at local coffee shops.
Tina Gravalos, CNP
Tina is a Holistic Nutritionist who practices in Oakville, Ontario at The Poppy Clinic alongside naturopathic doctor, Dr. Michelle Peris. Together, they combine their skills, expertise and their passion for helping others to provide their clients with optimal holistic care.
Tina is a passionate advocate for all things holistic wellness, with an interest in pediatric, digestive, preventative and women's health and wellness. She believes there is a strong urgency in educating people on the importance of nourishing their bodies, with quality foods and lifestyle practices, to be the healthiest version of themselves.
At the end of the day, Tina's goal is to make a positive impact on people's lives by encouraging and supporting them to make healthy choices to lead the healthiest life possible!
Liz is a junior civil engineer by day and fitness junkie by night. She grew up in Ottawa and always enjoyed weight lifting on her own but after moving to Toronto in 2016, couldn't help but want to be a part of the amazing fitness & wellness community we have here. She began working at various yoga and spinning studios in her spare time and dedicated herself to creating a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. You can now find her at anything from high intensity boxing or spinning to lower intensity barre or yoga classes. She is a huge believer in pushing your limits and challenging yourself daily, which is why she is also working on her own fitness company coming to Toronto soon.
